Co-managed IT services

Co-managed IT that makes your internal team stronger, not redundant.

You have IT staff. What you don't have is 24/7 coverage, enterprise security tooling, or a bench for the projects stacking up. Co-managed IT slots us in behind your team — you keep ownership and business context, we supply scale, tooling and depth.

01 / Why companies call us

The four problems behind almost every enquiry.

One or two people can't cover 24/7

Vacations, illness and 2 a.m. alerts are single points of failure. We take nights, weekends and holidays so your team isn't permanently on call.

Projects never get finished

Internal IT gets eaten by tickets. We absorb the ticket queue or the project work — whichever you'd rather hand off — so the roadmap actually moves.

Enterprise tooling is out of budget

RMM, EDR/MDR, SIEM, patch automation, documentation and backup platforms come bundled in our stack at a fraction of licensing them yourself.

No depth for hard problems

Your generalist shouldn't have to become an Entra ID, SASE or CMMC expert overnight. You escalate to named US-based Tier 3 specialists instead.

02 / What's included

Everything in one monthly agreement.

01

Split responsibility matrix

A written RACI defining exactly who owns what — endpoints, identity, network, backups, vendors — so nothing falls between the two teams.

Real engagements, measurable outcomes.

Healthcare / 380 users

Multi-site healthcare group

Challenge — A two-person internal IT team was drowning in tier-1 tickets and had no after-hours coverage across five clinics, delaying HIPAA-relevant remediation work.

What we did — We absorbed the tier-1 queue and 24/7 on-call, standardized the RMM and documentation stack, and left the internal team owning the EHR platform and vendor relationships.

Software / 145 users

SaaS company with a lean platform team

Challenge — Engineers were being pulled off product work to reset MFA, onboard staff and chase endpoint patch compliance ahead of a SOC 2 Type II audit.

What we did — We took over identity lifecycle, endpoint management and patch compliance reporting, working inside their existing Entra and Intune tenants under a shared runbook.

Manufacturing / 260 users, 3 plants

Regional manufacturer

Challenge — A single sysadmin covered three plants. Vacations and sick days meant plant-floor network issues could sit unowned for a full shift.

What we did — We provided a named co-managed pod for overflow and coverage, took ownership of network and firewall operations, and built documented escalation paths per plant.

06 / FAQ

Questions buyers actually ask.

Co-managed IT is a shared model: your internal IT staff keep ownership of strategy, relationships and business context, while an external partner supplies tooling, 24/7 coverage, security operations and specialist engineering. Responsibilities are defined in writing so there are no gaps or duplicated work.

In fully managed IT we own the whole function. In co-managed, your team stays in the driver's seat and we fill specific gaps — after-hours, security operations, Tier 3, project capacity — under a documented split of duties.

No, and we say that plainly to internal teams during onboarding. Co-managed clients usually adopt it because their IT staff are overloaded. Our job is to remove the grind so your people work on things the business notices.

Yes. Your team gets working access to the RMM, documentation, ticketing and patch platforms we deploy. If we ever part ways, your documentation goes with you.

That's one of the most common entry points, along with security operations only. You can widen scope later without re-papering the whole agreement.

Whatever the matrix says. Some clients keep all first-line tickets and route only escalations to us; others hand us the full queue during defined hours. Both models carry written response targets.
